As with all major metropolitan cities, trash and hydrocarbons being washed off the streets during a rain storm, and into storm water is inevitable. The only solution was to create capturing stations throughout cities. Unfortunately at that time, there was absolutely zero funding for projects created that would present a solution, therefore costing tax payers and municipalities millions of dollars in cleanup costs.
A WaterWay CleanUp Services product, the "Gate-Or" was then created by WaterWay CleanUp Services and installed within storm waterways. This system captures debris clogging trash and hydrocarbons in storm water before entering into our last remaining watersheds, therefore preventing flooding of our streets and neighborhoods.
